These large bulk items range from produce to cheese to electronics. Costco offers membership to people and businesses. Costco buys their products directly from the manufacturer. Costcos stores are usually about 169,000 square feet and are open 69-hours a week. The first Costco opened up in 1976 in San Diego, California under the name as Price Club. Costcos first official warehouse was opened in 1983 in Seattle, Washington. In 1993, Costco and Price Club merged and operated under the name as PriceCostco. The reason why I bought this stock is because this country is going into recession and people need to save money.
