B.  In cold climates there are some mammal species that hibernate over the winter. While hibernating, they maintain  a constant body temperature that is only a few degrees above freezing. Given that a mammal’s body temperature is  regulated by negative feedback, how is it possible to adopt a different body temperature for several months of the  year?
