It responsible for the global peace and security, also promote international economic and social cooperation and human rights. Economic and social council The main task of this UN body is to promote and improve the economic and social well-being of those living in the member states Security Council This UN body is responsible for the maintenance of international peace and security Consists of 11 members, 5 permanent and general assembly appoints another 6. Atlantic charter This agreement signed during WWII was the basis for the creation of the United Nations Security Council five non-permanent members Burkina Faso, Costa Rica, Croatia, Libya, Vietnam, Austria, Japan, Mexico, Turkey and Uganda Republic of Korea—Ban Ki-moon, the eighth secretary-general of the UN Peacekeeping These are troops sent into a country to maintain peace after a conflict has ended Peacekeeping mission This is the task for the UN especially members in the Security Council to keep the world peace and security. Essentially reduce or prevent wars happen or other event break the world peace. G-4 group Japan, Brazil, Germany, and India , G-7 Japan, France, German, US, UK, Italy, Canada BRIC Brazil, Russia, India, China Clash of civilization Samuel Huntington 1, Difference among civilization are not real, but basis. The difference of civilization include history, language, culture, tradition and most important, religion. 2, the world is becoming smaller and people of different civilizations have more interaction and more chance to make conflicts. 3, the process of economic modernization and social change are separating people from longstanding local identities. 4, the growth of civilization-consciousness is enhanced by the dual role of the West. 5, Cultural characteristic and differences are less mutable and hard to compromised and resolved than political and economy. 6, Economic regionalism is increasing. Torn country This is a country that is divided between two different civilizations
