Population growth as had many adverse effects on the environment. One of the greatest impacts and concerns is on the global water supply. The two major concerns are the declining amount of safe water and water pollution problems. Having access to water can be the single most important resource that we are using up and or destroying because without water there can be no life. The universal issues throughout the world surrounding people’s access to safe water revolve around water rights, politics and economics. While some people believe water to be a critical health issue and a fundamental human right, others believe in political claims water rights. According to the United Nations Human Rights Council, over a billion people do not have access to safe drinking water, and 2.5 billion people have inadequate sanitation services. The
