CAREERS IN THE INDUSTRY 3 Careers in the Industry The first careers I would consider is in the sit-down and fast-food industry, and the position would be general manager. Most of my occupations so far in life have in in the food service industry. I have filled many of the positions in a sit-down style dining establishment giving me a firm foundation to build my career. A general manager is in charge for seeing that the restaurant operates as seamlessly as possible. They must be aware of everything happening in the restaurant: food quality, guests’ experiences, employee cooperation, and maintaining the supplies necessary to run a successful business. This career path best suits me in many ways
