The job that I feel is most important in a hotel is security. Hotel guests and employees need to feel like they are in a safe environment when they are in the hotel. Security teams need to have an in-depth knowledge of the hotel layout, staff, and occupancy rate to effectively do their job. A second important department of a hotel is housekeeping. Housekeepers are in charge of maintaining cleanliness of the hotel. I work in a hotel and have heard a lot of horror stories about what housekeepers encounter when they enter a dirty room. They encounter everything from bedbugs and condoms to blood and feces. Housekeepers have to be very conscious of what they encounter because some of the items they come across could be potential dangerous and ever lethal. Honestly, I would never want to be a housekeeper because they work they do is labor intensive and they pay is not very high. One of the departments that I feel is important is hotel security and that would be the job that I would like in a luxury hotel. No matter what department
