Person A first walks 2.1 km to the due west and then walks 3.5 km to the direction of angle 45 degrees to the north from the east. Person B walks straight to the goal C. a. (5) What is the displacement vector R A ,2 of the second part of A’s walk in the unit vector notation? c. (5) For the person B to reach the goal by walking on a straight line, what should be the angle θ (measure from the due east) of the walking direction? d. (5) If person A walks at a constant speed v = 1.1 m/s for the whole path, how much time he takes to reach the goal? e. (5) For B to start and arrive simultaneously with A, at what speed B v should he/she walk? Note: Do not forget correct significant figures and units.
