The article written by Mike Adams is basically about his views on saving the planet from humans overly consuming and how we will eventually exceed the maximum capacity of Earth’s population. Adams begins his argument with stating that protecting the environment is not only a “liberal” idea but rather it is everyone’s business now. Adams’ opinion revolves around three undeniable truths. In the first truth, Adams explains that humans are using up the limited resources faster than it can be regenerated normally. He then move onto his second truth, each person living in modern civilization consumes some amount of the Earth’s limited resources. What he means by this is that every person, whether you are born now or in the future, will leave an ecological footprint that is bigger than what the Earth can withstand over time. His next truth relates to humans altering the environment. You can pretty much get what he means in this truth, he says that humans are destroying forests, poisoning the air, and polluting the water.
