STUDY GUIDE COM 100 Spring 2011 Exam One Corey/Bilge General Notes 1. The exam is composed of 50 questions. Approximately 5 will be true/false, and the rest will be multiple choice. 2. On the multiple-choice questions, you are to select the best answer. Test-taking tip: Frequently, a test writer will have one best answer, a second answer that is okay but not the best one, and one answer that’s completely off the wall. Be sure to read all of the options before selecting an answer 3. Do not over-analyze the true-false questions. It’s usually a quote right out of the book. 4. I do not use upper case to highlight words such as except or all. 5. You may write on the exam, but you must turn the exam in with your answer sheet. 6. Bring a #2 pencil. Material Covered The exam covers Chapters 1, 2, 3, and 4 from the textbook as well as the class lectures. The class lectures followed the chapters pretty closely. There will be some questions that are specific to the class discussions. The 50 questions are distributed across all four
