What is Technology? Various Definitions
Various Bergen County Community College: Technology is the technical means people use to improve their surroundings. It is also a knowledge of using tools and machines to do tasks efficiently. Technology and science are often confused. Science deals with the natural world. Technology is the study of the natural laws which govern the universe. Various Wikipedia – The free encyclopedia Technology has more than one definition. The development and application of tools, machines, materials and processes that help to solve human problems. As a human activity, technology predates both science and engineering. It embodies the human knowledge of solving real problems in the design of standard tools, machines, materials or the process. Thus standardization of design is an essential feature of technology.
