The motor parameters are: R a = 0.1 , L a = 5 mH, K E = K T = 2.86 V/(rad/s), J = 1.5 10-3 kg m 2 , B = 0.02 N m/(rad/s). The converter parameters are: V d = 600 V, V tri = 5 V., f s = 33 kHz. 1) Design the current control loop with the unity feedback. Assume phase margin PM,I = 90 o , and the crossover frequency f cI = 1 kHz. Find the PI controller gain k p,I and k i,I ignoring back EMF E a loop. 2) Design the speed control loop with the unity feedback. Assume phase margin PM, = 60 o , and the crossover frequency f c = 100 Hz. Find the PI controller gain k p, and k i, assuming the closed-current loop to be ideal. 3) Build the block diagram of the motor with current and speed PI controllers and simulate starting of DC motor assuming the rated reference speed and zero load torque (initial conditions).
