Morgan Langford Christopher Little Sarah Johnson Jeff Mabry M/W 5:30 Tortilla Soup A) What is meant by the term culture.* This is not to be your opinion, but rather you giving me a definition of culture in your own words, but based on the definition provided above, no other. Culture is a continued way of life that is shared by a group of people and passed on through generations. B) What were several examples of the major elements of the culture group represented in the film? In the film “Tortilla Soup,” two worlds combine to create the unique Mexican- American culture of the Naranjo family. One major element of their culture is food and its importance. Martin, the father, spends a lot of time making elaborate dishes to be enjoyed by his family even though he cannot enjoy them. Dinner is set aside as family time and the table is where they discuss things of importance, whether pleasant or not. Another important element is family.
