Study Guide: Geography 1001, Section 1, Exam 1 Studying the terms and concepts in this list should help you be well-prepared for the first exam on Tuesday, September 12 th . As stated in the class syllabus, however, material from the text book I did not cover in class, lecture material that does not overlap with the textbook, movies, and guest speakers are all fair game for test material, so be prepared to make connections and know material beyond the parameters of this study guide and our brief in-class review. Bring a number two pencil, large scantron sheet, and your student ID. There will be 50 multiple choice questions and three bonus questions. The test is in our regular classroom -- Howe-Russell-Kniffen 130. Be able to define Geography, understand how it differs from other social sciences, and also identify and define the subfields we examined in class of the discipline’s two major divisions – Human and Physical Geography .
