Especially emphasized will be the leadership of work teams for effective performance and maximum member satisfaction. This course deals extensively with task/maintenance/individual roles of team members. COURSE OBJECTIVES Upon the completion of this course, including class attendance and fulfillment of project requirements, students should be able to: 1. Identify various principles and theories of group dynamics within the framework of an "advanced" course in organizational behavior. 2. Provide opportunities to become skilled participant-observers of team processes in order that the student may be more effective as team leaders and as team members in organizations.
