Next week we have Midterm #2 in class Wed. and during lab Program #4 due this Sunday Announcements: Questions? Examples of arrays: counting characters Last Time: Date.Time() returns the number of milliseconds since Jan 1, 1970. 1. How to highlight a row: One approach: After every turn set the color of every square on the screen. Use a variable to determine how many rows should be set to "darkGray" and set all the others to "lightGray". 2. Set a "flag" to clear the messages label on-screen. In the code where you handle a word set this flag to true. Then in the code where you handle a mouse or key press check the flag variable. If it has been set then clear the messages label on the screen and reset the flag to false. 3. To change the color of square in the second row (index value 1) and the first column (index value 0): letterTiles[ 1][ 0].setColor("darkGray"); To retrieve the letter at that Square and append it to an existing string: String validLetters = ""; int row = 1; int column = 0;
