the tools by building a pre-written sample program. The student will then use some simple debugging techniques to compare execution time using different build options. Experimentation is encouraged and the user should feel free to explore through the menu items. This lab is based upon a tutorial in the “Programming ADSP-BF537 EZ-Kit LIte with VisualDSP++” manual. Because of time restrictions, this lab was shortened…it is suggested to go through all the getting started labs when time permits for a more complete demonstration and understanding. Steps: 1) Connect the USB cable from the laptop to the ADSP-BF537 EZ-KIT Lite. Plug in the AC/DC power adapter and power the board. 2) Open VisualDSP++ 4.0 using the desktop shortcut. If your last open session was for the BF537 EZ-KIT via the Debug Agent, proceed to step 3. Otherwise, utilize the " Session->New Session… ” pull-down to open the Debug Agent session. Check the following is selected then click OK.
