Introduction In this project, we use DSP-BF533 EZ-KIT Lit e to program a C++ code implementing a system demonstrating an audio (signal) processing closest to our major in electrical engineering. We utilized signal’s gain concept to implement a volume control, also gain concept to implement a 2-dimensional speakers panning. Board Setup We started by setting the board SW9 pins to all on as demonstrated in Figure 2-2. The switch’s positions 1 through 4 connects the PFx (x is 8-11) pins of the processor with the push buttons. In addition, the position 5-6 connect the transmit and receive frame syncs, and SPORT0 clock, which is used for the audio decoder in the case of this project. 1 2 3 4 5 6

Project Function 1. without any push button pressed the audio is transmitted to the speakers with no modification 2. pressing PF8 will increase the volume of the audio and a. LED 1 will be on when the volume is in the first step b. LED 1+2 is lit and so on up to LED 5 then it resets 3. Pressing PF9 will decrease the volume of the audio and a. Corresponding to the value of the current volume a specific range of LED’s will be lit to indicate the volume level b. Further pressing will decrease the number of lit LED’s until it resets 4. Pressing PF10 will change the spanning with each press until it resets
