Unformatted text preview: Working with Forms Lab Access 2007 This exercise is the be done using the database you worked on in Chapter 2, Practice Exercise 3 (pages 666 – 668) in the textbook. The following exercises will be additions to your chap2_pe3_insurance_solution database. Generating Forms: You are to generate forms for each of the tables that are in this database: - Employees Table - Titles Table - Location Table. The Title Form: Creating the Titles Form: Select the Titles table. Under the CREATE tab, select the FORMS icon in the Forms Gallery. This creates a basic form. Click the SAVE icon and name the Form – “ Titles Form ”. Customizing the Titles Form: Change to DESIGN view to be able to edit the form. Under the FORM DESIGN TOOLS – DESIGN Tab. Using a Label Control, add a label on the right side of the Form Heading that reads: “Prepared by: your name”. Delete the Employee.table. Click on the table that appears on the form. Delete to remove it. Adding navigation buttons: Under the FORM DESIGN TOOLS – DESIGN Tab. Using the Buttons Control, add buttons to the form using the following procedure: - Click on the Button icon. - Drag on the form to indicate the location for the button. - Select the command that the button represents – See list below. - Select meaningful text or an appropriate picture to identify the button. - Give the button a meaningful name....
