Hands-on Access Lab: Import the table for Drop-Down List box 1. Open Chapter 3 Practice Exercise 6 – The Fishing Pole.mdb database you last modified in Chapter 3. 2. While you have the database you are working on open, click on File . 3. Click on Get External Data 4. Click Import 5. Select the Membership Import database in SYS/APPS2/SFILES/Exploring Access in the student data share in the lab. 6. Select the State table 7. Click OK Creating a Drop-Down List box 1. Open the Customers Form in Design View. 2. Delete the State text field from the form. 3. Select the Combo box control from the Toolbox toolbar. 4. Place the combo box where the state field that you deleted was located. 5. Select I want the Combo box to look up the values in a table or query 6. Click Next 7. Select the State table 8. Click Next 9. Select both fields to be displayed 10. Click Next 11. Uncheck Hide Key Column 12. Click Next 13. Select Abbreviation for the field you wish to use in your database
