The red arrow is the vector sum of the black and red arrows. * Select “Sketch” to see the vector arrows from the side. * Select “Numerical values” to see exact values of each force as well as for the angle the tension force makes with the vertical. * Move the cursor to the “Period” box and type in “2” then press enter. Check the vector diagrams and numerical values. * Repeat with values for the period from 1.00 s to 10.0 s. Be sure to press enter after you type in the new value. * Change the distance from the suspensions to the axis of rotation and view the vector diagrams and numerical values.
