Kendi Murungi Psyc 2070 9 December 2010 Extra Credit Assignment Death is the one thing that Americans fear the most, but is imminent. Most people prefer not to think about death, but those who are given a terminally ill diagnosis have the rest of their short life to ponder their impending demise. Then comes the difficult decision, where do you live out the rest of your life? In a hospital, getting experimental treatments to try to sustain your life, or do you accept it and spend the rest of your moments in peace enjoying quality time with loved ones? There are many differences between hospital care and hospice care, but selecting the right one takes careful thought and preparation.
