Introduction When reading the book The Rise of Fashion and Lessons Learned at Bergdorf Goodman, by Ira Neimark, as a fashion merchandising major, opened my eyes to many aspects and opportunities that are out there. Neimark, really emphasizes the importance of opening your eyes to the surrounds and even though the things that we are thought in school, there is still more out there to be learned by experience. He seems to be the perfect fit for any fashion major to be able to learn something from. From his first job at Bonwit Teller, to one of the top department stores, Bergdorf Goodman, explains how one can gain success in the fashion world. Body Part 1-5 Throughout the entire book, Neimark describes all his experiences, professional and personal; that there is more to fashion businesses that one is able to see from the naked eye.
