Dear Dr. Kepuska. I have some questions on my project, spectrum enhancement, so I want to meet on Today. However, First I want you to know about my project results. I put some spectrogram plots. Figure 1 is Enhanced spectrogram. Figure 2-4 are spectrograms of each part of below equations. Part 1 (Figure 2) is spectrum and overall average Part 2 (Figure 3) is spectrum and local average Part 3 (Figure 4) is spectrum and background estimate. Part 4 (Figure 5) is spectrum and floor Finally, figure 6 is estimate of enhanced spectrogram, where is e(i), it is the summation of four parts. Questions are: -See and review my spectrogram plots - Figure 4, spectrogram shows lots of zero (black color) in first few seconds. I think it was owing to background estimate. Therefore, Figure 5, summation plot has also black color in first part. Am I doing wrong? You should be able to answer your questions and confirm your hypothesis by inserting the break-point in the front end and observing what is going.
