Ludwig Van Beethoven Beethoven was a german pianist born in 1770. He is known as the greatest classical composer ever. He began losing his hearing at age 26, by the time he was 52 he was completely deaf. His greatest achievement being b etthovens Ninth symphony, he composed this after he lost his hearing. Some of his most well known pieces are Fur Elise, the Fifth Symphony and the moonlight sonata. I chose him because I love music and his work is really great. He is inspiring to deaf community because he was still able to make music despite his deafness Thomas Edison Thomas Edison is known as the most famous American inventor of all time. He is most known for inventing the light bulb. He began having hearing problems from childhood, and was deaf by his early teenage years. I think that he is very important in our history and I didn't know that he was deaf. He told people that he was happy with his deafness because it helped him concentrate more on his work. This can be inspiring because it's taking something “negative”
