Protested the Keystone XL project. - $7B, 1,700 mile crude oil pipeline from Alberta, Canada to the Texas Gulf Coast. - Concerned about environmental impact. Was arrested with Daryl Hannah (actress). Head of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies. - NASA’s top scientist on climate change. Who’s in the News? Dr. James E. Hansen Has been arrested before at other protests. NASA: “Dr. Hansen was on his own time, he had taken leave, so he wasn't on official duty, and he was not representing the agency." Previous arrest in Sept 2010
