ENGR 126 – Fall 2008 HOMEWORK 5 MEA 1 Purdue Paper Plane Challenge This problem is to be completed individually Access to this assignment will be available 48 hours after your Lab 5. The purpose of the Peer Critique is to provide a critical evaluation of another team’s work such that the team can use your feedback to improve their solution. Your feedback should enable and encourage the team receiving your critique to make substantive (e.g. major, practical, fundamental) change to improve their MEA solution. Through this assignment, you will provide a Peer Critique on the work of a student team currently in ENGR 126. Just as you did in Calibrated Peer Critique (last week), you will evaluate the team’s MEA Second Draft along three dimensions: Mathematical Model, Re-Usability and Modifiability, and Audience (Share-ability). Before starting your Peer Critique, review (1) the Expert Critique from the Critique by Peers Calibration activity last week and (2) your reflection on three ways that you can improve your ability to provide a Peer Critique. These can be accessed through the MEA 1 links on the WebForms page at: https://engineering.purdue.edu/ENE/WebformsFor/AvailableFor/engr126 Then access the Critique by Peers through the MEA 1 links to complete your Peer Critique of a student team currently in ENGR 126. The instructions below walk you through the items that must be completed in a Peer Critique. Keep in mind that “good” feedback is: Clear and organized Provides specific examples and suggestions for improvement that help the team revise their MEA
