It’s the raw technology and only concerns hardware software and data components of an information system IT is only useful when embedded in an IS giving it procedures and people 4. How Business Professionals use IS a. Basic business tasks like email, accessing web pages, and instant messaging b. Considering IT and IS to solve business problems and opportunities c. Create innovative applications using emerging technology 5. New Opportunities for IS Developing Today a.
