ECE 202H – Spring 2011 Project #2: Convolution Due: 10 February 2011 at 1:30 PM (50 Points) Complete the following assignment on an individual basis, and submit your result as a report (please include a title page with your name). [5 pts] Analytically derive the impulse response for the capacitor voltage , V C (t), in a series RC circuit having R = 50 and C = 200 µ F, given an arbitrary input voltage. Note that for derivation of the impulse response, you must assume that V C (0 - ) = 0V. 2. [5 pts] Compute the convolution integral of the impulse response derived in 1. , with input voltages of (a) V in = 3u(t-1), and (b) V in = 5*sin(2 π 30t)u(t). 3. [20 pts] Create a MATLAB function conv202 that implements the convolution integral to obtain the convolution of any two functions, a(t) and b(t) . The form of your function call should be
