A time when I sacrificed something to be known as a “hero” is when I was about to go to Beech Bend with my cousins. My sister and brother also were supposed to go, but they had gotten into trouble for breaking the t.v. Once my momma found out, she yelled with anger, “Johnathon is the only one whose going to Beech Bend since the rest of y’all want to play in the house.” When I heard those words come out of my momma’s mouth, I got even more excited because I was still going. However, I started to feel bad for my siblings. I really wanted to go to Beech Bend, but my sister and brother were looking very sad and looked like they were about to cry.
