22.381 Fluid Mechanics – Spring 2012 Instructor : Professor David Willis, Office : EB-322, Email : [email protected] (Best) Phone : (978) 934-3101 WebSite: faculty.uml.edu/dwillis/22.381 Class Location: KI-302 Course Prerequisites The course prerequisites are: (1) 22.213 – Dynamics (2) 92.231 – Calculus III (3) 92.236 – Differential equations If pre-req’s are not met, students MUST talk with the instructor by January 25th 2012. Office Hours and “Bernoulli Boot-camp” Office hours will be held in EB-322: Tuesday 12:00noon and Friday 1:00pm Bernoulli Boot-camp will be held after class (45 mins) on Mon. and Weds. (location TBD): Monday 1:00pm and Wednesday 1:00pm Textbook The textbook is required . Homework and reading assignments will be from the text: Fundamentals of Fluid Mechanics, Munson, Young, Okiishi, and Huebsch, Wiley, 6th Ed.
