The article states that if we would go all green at once you could kill a lot of people’s lively hoods. This in my opinion would do more harm than good, yet one cannot ignore the fact of drilling crude oil is dangerous as cited in Surrusco, E. (8/17/2011). Drilling for oil in Arctic Ocean is fraught with danger. . Christian Science Monitor. The article talks about the dangers of drilling, and the troubles that oil clean would incur in the Arctic Ocean. When taking all this information in, and trying to decide what side I am on I had to ask myself two questions. What ramifications would we incur during the short term, and what dangers do we leave to future generations? Short term dangers would include oil spills and disrupting animal habitats of the area where the drilling takes place. Long term dangers include global warming, and the
