18:01 The Red Scare The fear of internal subversion. Distrust of immigrants. Known as the Red Scare in regards to the red flag of the socialist Bolsheviks. In 1919, the Bolsheviks alarmed the American people even more by creating the  Cominterm, a worldwide association of communist leaders. The stated mission of  Cominterm as to revolutionize capitalist countries. Palmer Raids US Senator received a bomb in the mail that went off. A NYC postal officer found many  package bombs that were addressed to prominent capitalist supporters. One made it to  the US Attorney General, A. Mitchell Palmer.
