A Closer Look at the  Delta P Contingency Model . According to the Delta P Contingency Model,  variations in X and variations in Y are of equal  significance. That is, increasing Y by 0.2 will have the  same effect on CR performance as  decreasing X by 0.2. Or, increasing Y by 0.5 will have the same effect on CR performance as decreasing X by 0.5.
