XMGT216 WEEK 8 DUE DAY 7 JASMYNE CARSON Managers and leaders of different companies conduct business internationally and those managers and leaders face a lot of moral issues and ethical issues. When a company conducts business internationally a lot of dilemmas can occur because of a conflict with the other nation’s beliefs or customs. Understanding and maintaining the other nation’s beliefs would make a world of difference and it would improve the relationship between both companies. The best way to achieve success is to have only the best and most experienced employees conduct the business with the other nation’s most experienced employee. Having the most experienced employee’s conduct the business ensures that the business deal will go smoothly and without a hitch. Managers have to rely on the strength of the company and they have to know the best way to conduct business. The manager also has to know how to obtain the most out of the work that was preformed. It does not matter what type of business is conducted by both nations as long as it is professional and successful. When different countries conduct business with each other there could also be problems with the different languages so it is very important for the business to have an employee that speaks the language of the other company. All of the companies that conduct their business internationally try with every effort they have to minimize or eliminate both ethical issues and moral issues. The effort they put forth to minimize both the moral issues and the ethical issues is worth the time because if there are no ethical issues or moral issues the company can run smoothly. Convergence and divergence in international business ethics. National companies are made of different multilevel functions consisting of unique ethical positions. Two types of theory conditions exist: norm and degree community inclusion that determines convergence instead of divergence as it relates to ethical viewpoints (Bailey& Spicer, 2007). American and Russian surveys demonstrate comparable systems as both nations relate to different ethical situations. Although American and Russian differences were visible the ethical reactions were about the same. Throughout the process both countries have to make all efforts t work together as
