Extra Credit 1. Chapter 3 Internet Projects a. Color Mate Website Colors are mesmerizing and have a magnetic attraction. The effect they leave on the body-mind system of the viewer is deep and profound. Different colors have their unique attributes and effects. Throughout history, color has been known to create specific effects on the human body and its various energetic layers. Color can influence our emotions, our actions and how we respond to various people, things and ideas. While perceptions of color are somewhat subjective, there are some color effects that have universal meaning. Colors in the red area of the color spectrum are known as warm colors and include red, orange and yellow. These warm colors evoke emotions ranging from feelings of warmth and comfort to feelings of anger and hostility. However colors on the blue side of the spectrum are known as cool colors and include blue, purple and green. These colors are often described as calm, but also call to mind feelings of sadness or indifference. Color can evoke any number of our senses. For example, green may be evocative of the smell of grass, lemon yellow may evoke a sour taste and other colors like blue and black are
