Memory Stages and Information Storage Sensory Memory- “The initial, momentary storage of information that lasts only an instant” (Feldman, 2010, p. 201). Short Term Memory- “Holds information for 15 to 25 seconds and stores it according to its meaning rather than as mere sensory stimulation” (Feldman, 2010, pp. 201-202). I memorized all the key and did not have to hunt and peck keys as other students who were first learning had to. Negative- My daughter recently started taking vocal in school. I took it myself in school for years so I was going to help her with some vocal chords she was trying to learn. Since I had not practiced my vocal scales in a very long time, I could not remember how to start off my vocal warm ups or practices!...
