Kids at recess Tension reduction – ex. Awkward moments so you laugh Catharsis – ex. Watching people get hit, letting anger out Compensation – ex. Buying a motorcycle at the age of 30 Psychoanalytic theory – Use play ful environment to off-set the situation.
