For exercise # 5, consider the “population” to be the much larger composite data for all Wash U BME 140 classes for the past several years, including the 2010 class. Use the appropriate formulas and tables in the biostatistics lecture slides. Use tables or plots to show your data and results. Be sure to label column headings and also explicitly write the formula for each column as well as that used to calculate the appropriate statistic in all your calculations). Note that simply using the StDev formula in Excel will give you the wrong answer !! 1) Using the body heights and weights of five arbitrarily selected samples (each containing 10 students) of the 2010 data: a) Compute the mean, standard deviation, and the estimated population standard error of the mean for each sample. b)
