Leverage with suppliers Zero defects, aim low, high quality Competitive price Delivery time Technical designs How are they using the scorecard? Identify the preferred suppliers Weight of priorities Drive quality. Scorecards help them maintain the higher level of information or institutional knowledge when someone new comes to the position in company. What are the strengths for scorecard? Could edit Rank suppliers Essay accessible. You would be able to open it up no matter where you are unless you have the password, etc. Give suppliers some kind of goals and position. Too many on-going data collection Help bring some objectives. Improvements. Help to see some improvements on which areas Exception process, give some exceptions to some areas based on their scorecards. Interacting systems. What are the weakness ? o Restricted supply base o Not everyone understand and use the score cards differently o Lack of details o No impact on responsiveness. They didn't help them solve the problem.
