ECE 301 Project 1: System Properties Due: 6/17/11 Introduction This project is intended to familiarize you with identifying the properties of a system (linearity, time-invariance, stability, etc). To this end, you will develop a set of test procedures to determine if a system is linear and/or time-invariant. The systems will be implemented and tested in Matlab. 1 Training Systems Download training sys.zip from the project website and extract the files to the directory in which you wish to work. Write a single matlab script that tests the given functions for linearity and time-invariance. If a system is non-linear or time-varying, create a plot of the an example input(s) and output(s) that demonstrate this phenomenon. System 1 System 1 implements the equation shown in Eq. 1.
