Week 3 Discussion: Before you start this week discussions, Briefly explain different types of SQL (DDL, DML & DCL) using a simple example. Do not use examples from the text. DDL statements are used by create the structure of the tables as well as items such as primary keys, foreign keys and other constraints in a table of a database CREATE TABLE Employee ( EmplyID Numeric(6), Fname VARCHAR(50), Lname VARCHAR(50), Zip VARCHAR(6), SupervisorID VARCHAR(6), HireDate DATE, PayRate NUMERIC(10), CONSTRAINT PKEmployee PRIMARY KEY (EmplID) ) DML statements are used to work with the data in tables. These statements do not alter the structure of the tables but assists in only manipulating the data found in the tables.
