HOW TO TYPE A NUMBERED LIST NUMBERED LISTS can be used to show steps or prioritize items STEPS TO CREATING A NUMBERED LIST 1. <OL> (ordered list) above the text tells the computer that you want to turn your text into a numbered list 2. each item in the list is started with <LI> and ended with </LI>(capital L capital I) 3. Repeat step two for each item in the list 4. Type </OL> after the list is completed HOW TO SET A NUMBER STYLE Type TYPE=”?” within the <OL> tag, replacing the ? with a number style code: A. A, B, C a. a, b, c I. I, II, III i. i ,ii, iii 1. 1, 2, 3 The numbered list will be displayed in the style that you indicate within the <OL> tag.
