EXAMS Three exams will be given during the regular semester and a fourth exam will be given during finals week. Each of the four exams will cover material from lecture, reading/homework assignments and laboratory. Each exam is limited to the respective section of the course (although you may be expected to remember a few basic facts from the previous sections). Exam 1: 7 Feb (Tue), 8 pm - 10 pm WTHR 172 Exam 2: 1 Mar (Thurs), 8 pm - 10 pm GRIS 180 Exam 3: 5 Apr (Thurs), 8 pm - 10 pm WTHR 172 Exam 4: During finals week, covers topics since Exam 3 HELP SESSIONS To be announced, but generally just before each exam. ABSENCES In the case of missed labs or exams please communicate with Craig. If the reason is health-related or related to university-sponsored activities please hand in (1) brief email-style letter stating the circumstances and (2) standard supporting document such as a letter from the doctor or the university office. In a situation where supporting documents are not readily available, the explanatory letter (e-mail) is sufficient.
