Hyunjun Chung Sara King Essay 3-In Class Writing 1. (Freewriting/Choosing a topic) The first step that I took was just brainstorming all the possible topics. In doing so, I got assistance from the web on ideas of possible research topics. Then, I narrowed all the possibilities to the topics I was interested in. I realized that some of the topics were quite difficult to research, so I decided to choose from the topics that dealt with common aspects, but their interesting relationship. Finally, the topic I chose was the relationship between the current recession and criminal activities . I expect the audience to know about the current economic situation of America and the fact that crime has increased . The challenge that I anticipate is the fact that the economy will be difficult researching. Especially because of the lack of my English
