The goals of sustainable agriculture include conserving water, soil, energy and resources, managing wastes and pests, selecting plants that will adapt to the environment, increase biodiversity and profit while reducing risk. I believe that biotechnology cannot exist sustainably because it does not align with all of these goals. Public opinion has more likely than not, sided with my argument. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
