Florida International University Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering EEL 4747C Microcomputers II Lab Syllabus TA : Lilin Guo Office Hours: NA Email : lguo002@fiu.edu Catalog Description: This lab is an integrated part of EEL 4747C Microcomputers II, which contributes 25% to the students’ final grades in the course. Lab Objectives: In the lab, student will work in groups and use the knowledge that they learn in the lectures to implement their design with Xilinx ISE and Model SIM or ISE simulator, to understand updated industry approach of design using Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools. Lab Schedule: Lab Hours: EC 3862 Fri 11:00 AM-12:15 PM; Fri 1:15 PM-2:30 PM Lab Group: One/Two students in a group use a computer to finish the job in lab, but individual report is required for everyone. Tentative Weekly Schedule: Week 1: Lab syllabus discussion, Group organization (1/13) Lecture 1 - Week 2: Instruction of Lab 1, 2, 3 (1/19) Lab 1- Week 2: Introduction to Xilinx ISE and Model SIM (1/20)
