Kathryn Beddow AML2301—J. Pekins Final Exam December 16, 2011 Final Exam Responses 1. When it comes to accomplishments, I feel that I have reached many. In regards to my accomplishments as a reader in this course, the main one would be completing the readings that came with this work load. I would not have imagined that I could have read all of these writings in such a condescended time period. However, I did read countless pieces of work, but a variety of writers—managing to comprehend, analyze and relate to each. In conjunction with completing all readings, understanding them, being able to analyze and relate to them, I was motivated and influenced by several pieces. Being able to put myself into the narrator’s position is something that I value a great deal. To be able to empathize with another’s tale makes me feel more humble and more human. I have expanded on my ability to be more emphatic while reading, as well as towards all those that I encounter. As a writer, this unit has allowed me to sharpen my analytical skills and
