Dermatomyositis 2. Polyarteritis nodosa 3. Rheumatoid arthritis 4. Scleroderma 5. Systemic lupus erythematosus Diagnostic tests for collagen vascular diseases include: 1. ANA 2. Autoantibodies a. Rheumatoid arthritis- rheumatoid factor, anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide b. Dermatomyositis- anti-Jo-1 c. Lupus- ds DNA and anti-Sm, antinuclear factor and antiphospholipid antibodies 3. C-reactive Protein 4. Complement 5. ESR Additional DX tests for Lupus: ACR diagnostic criteria: 4 out of 11 has a sensitivity of 85% and specificity of 95% Serositis- pleurisy, pericarditis on exam or diagnostic EKG or imaging Oral ulcers- palate is most specific Arthritis- nonerozive, 2 or more peripheral joints with tenderness or swelling Photosensitivity Blood disorders- leucopenia, lymphopenia, thrombocytopenia or hemolytic
