Serbia Info Serbia is a South Europe country with a democratic  government system. Serbia has a population of 11  million people living in it .The biggest city is  Belgrade, which is the capital of the country. Serbia is  a Christian country, 95% Orthodox Christians . It is  one of developing countries.

The Serbian Sign  The Serbian Sign is three  fingers hold high in the  air or on the heart. It  represents the Holy  Trinity : Holy Spirit,  Holy Father, and Holy  Son.

History of Serbia The History of Serbia begins with the Slavic migrations on the Balkans,  on the territories governed by the Eastern Roman Empire, in the 7th  century . Serbs are part of the Slavic people, South Slavs. One of the  first acknowledged Serbian principalities, Raska, was founded in the  early 9th century by the House of Vlastimirovic . First Serbian state,  Raska, was founded on territory of the Roman Empire . Because of that  Serbs have faced a lot of wars and battles with Eastern Roman army  and other people who were living in that part of Europe, such as  Hungarians and Bulgarians.
