MONEY AND BANKING 220:301:02 – GRADING EXPLANATION Sheflin Fall 2010 Course Grades are posted in Sakai and should be visible through gradebook. Your FINAL GRADE is a WEIGHTED AVERAGE of your curved grade on the FINAL , your average grade on the best 10 of 13 required ASSIGNMENTS , your average CLICKER SCORE , dropping the lowest four, classes, the ONLINE MIDTERM score, along with EXTRA CREDIT from the post test and survey, if done and the extra credit project, if done. Note that the total possible points in the course is 1000 plus up to 20 for the extra credit project and 5 for the post test and survey (2% and .5% respectively) – Sakai converts this to a 100 point basis. The final exam points were CURVED (finalexamcurved in gradebook; finalexamraw is the raw score) –this was done by scaling all scores to the highest cluster which was above 140 pts out of 150). The total points were also CURVED . I of course only added the finalexamcurved points into the total; I show you the raw points for your information
